Miquel Lozano
Miquel Lozano, MD, PhD is hematologist and Hemotherapy Section Head at the department of Hemotherapy and Hemostasis at the Clínic University Hospital of Barcelona, Spain. He is currently Vice-President Europe of the World Apheresis Association and past president of the European Society for Haemapheresis. He is a frequently invited and well known speaker in national and international meetings.
Julio Delgado
Julio Delgado, MD is the Head of the Oncoimmunotherapy Unit and consultant haematologist at Hospital Clínic, Barcelona (HCB) and associate professor at the University of Barcelona. He has been involved in the clinical development of ARI-0001 (varnimcabtagene autoleucel), the first 100% academic CART-cell product ever approved in a EU member state. He is a founding member of the Spanish Group for CLL and runs most CLL and CART-cell clinical trials at HCB.
Moderator
Gerda Leitner, MD, is specialist for transfusion medicine and general medicine. She was medical director of the University Clinic for Blood Group Serology and Transfusion Medicine (Medical University/Vienna, Austria) and retired at the end of 2021. She is currently President elect of the European Society for Haemapheresis.
